Promotional Panda Week 2015

Promotional Products Week took place last week, between the 14th and 18th of September. It is an important week for the promotional products industry, as it gives companies a chance to showcase their products and what they can offer to other companies, as well as making clear the essential role of promotional products in marketing campaigns and explaining why they work so well.

It is also a good opportunity to find out what the best and most popular promotional gifts are, as recent BPMA research has shown that “The total amount spent by companies on promotional merchandise in the UK last year [2014] was approaching £1bn and firms are happy to spend an average of up to £5 an item to get their marketing message across to consumers.” This just shows how much of an impact promotional products have on corporate businesses and how integral they are to so many marketing campaigns.

Here at Gilt Edged, we took part in Promotional Products Week by using #PromoThePanda (renamed Peter Pan-da) to show off the different aspects of our work with promotional products. We photographed him embroidering t-shirts, blocking diaries and even selling cakes for charity! See some examples of what he got up to below.

We also featured a different ‘Product of the Day’ on our Twitter page (@giltedged) for each day of Promotional Products Week to showcase our best promotional items which are all manufactured or finished in-house. This includes our diaries, t-shirts and USB’s – all of which can be fully customised to our client’s specific needs.
