What’s best thing about Gilt Edged?

The passion amongst the team to deliver outstanding service and product.

How woud you describe your role?

My role is to drive Gilt Edged forward in the pursuit of the attaining sales and productivity targets whilst improving efficiencies across every department in the business.

What challenges do you face on a daily basis?

Time, where does it go? In all seriousness keeping up with the changes within the industry, the growing product range and ensuring we remain at the top of our game.

How do you see the future of promotional products industry?

I feel 2017 is going to be a tough year, a large percentage of the products within our industry originate in the Far East. The devaluation of the pound against the dollar has impacted the cost of these items and I imagine businesses and organisation will question these increases to their marketing expenditure. What remains important is that products are used wisely and the return on investment is measured. Promotional products have an outstanding reputation for their low cost per impression. They are the second most effective means of communicating a brand with media advertising coming first. With that in mind whilst 2017 will be tough I do feel the promotional product industry will continue to flourish especially with the rise of tech products combined with the more traditional items.

Where would you like to be in a five years’ time?

I would like to enjoy health and happiness, and a growing sales team!

How do you spend your free time?

Spending time with my family, walking my dog, eating out and travel.
