At the beginning of the coronavirus crisis here in the UK, the government called for local suppliers to produce products to combat the virus. In response to this, here at Gilt Edged we took the initiative to not only source PPE and other essential products for our customers, but also produce a new item that all businesses will need. Introducing our new line of hand sanitiser gel and liquid!
We have worked with two local distilleries to produce hand sanitiser manufactured to the WHO formulation which is bottled in-house, allowing for quick dispatch from our factory and for businesses to get what they need as soon as possible. We stock a range of bottle sizes and styles, including standard squeeze bottles, large refill containers, smaller carabiner bottles to clip onto clothing or bags, and spray bottles. Having a range of options means there is a sanitiser solution to suit everyone, encompassing all requirements. We have adapted our production line to be able to offer this product with quick turnaround times, and can even brand labels to create the most essential promotional product of the current times.
Managing director Jonathan Cook said, “Once lockdown was initiated we saw a big drop in demand for branded goods, alongside a growing need from our clients to provide them with hand sanitiser. We worked with local distilleries to meet this demand, and are delighted to offer a range of sanitiser products in liquid and gel format. Our factory was perfectly set up to introduce a bottling and labelling line and our fantastic team rose to the challenge, quickly adapting their skills to accommodate the growing demand. In these extremely difficult times it is essential that we as a business evolved to meet the needs of our customers and do all we can to secure jobs for our staff. We spotted an opportunity and are delighted that we have been able get the new products up and running so fast. We are now supplying a range of industries with sanitiser including shops, bars, hairdressers, dentists, and schools. In addition to sanitiser we offer a complete range of back to work products and hope this will help businesses return to work safely.”
