Summer is here and with it brings the sunshine! Summertime is loved by many for partaking in outdoor activities with friends and family, including holidays and picnics. Cool Bag
Picnics are made easy with the Imma Cooler Bag. With adjustable strap and a loop for your keys, this quilted cool bag keeps your food and drink nice and cool ready for when you want to eat. Our Account Manager Suzanne tried this product out for us: “The bag was good – we packed a lot in and it folds flat when empty. It has a pocket on the side and a shoulder strap which were useful additions.” As you can see from the photos, this bag sure does hold a lot! It’s the perfect picnic bag to take on days out while you enjoy the sunshine. Printing is to the front pocket so your brand can really have an impact.
Sunglasses
Everybody always needs an extra pair of sunglasses, right?! It can’t just be us who lose them or break them often! We recently had some sunglasses printed with the Gilt Edged logo and they look great. They were put to the test by our Sales Director Natalie: “Sunday 11th July was a momentous day as England made it to the final of the Euros, but for our family it marked a very special day as it was our first family gathering since February 2019! We decided to get together for a pre-match BBQ and were underprepared for the weather as the forecast showed rain. We turned up with brollies and gazebos but needed sun lotion and sunnies! Fortunately I had some samples in the car and was able to hand out sunglasses, gaining a big thumbs up from 3 different generations. Mum even managed to pop hers on top of her normal glasses to get relief from the glaring sun.”
Beach Ball
The Palma Beach Ball comes in 7 different colours, making it the perfect novelty item to match to your brand colours. Natalie also tried out our Gilt Edged branded beach balls while at her family BBQ, so following on from her sunglasses review: “With the sun beaming down we decided to have a game of football, but with a mixture of ages and abilities the standard ball was a touch too hard. Coming to the rescue again I had some branded beach balls in the car, and what a blast we had as we played football and volleyball. The afternoon was a resounding success and for low-cost promo items the sunglasses and the beach balls were a big hit!”
Salad Container
The Shakey Salad Set is perfect for on-the-go lunches, travelling around to BBQs or taking on a picnic. With plenty of room for salad in the main section, there’s a handy pot in the lid for holding dressings and the fork slots into the side. This practical and innovative container is perfect for al fresco dining on hot summer days. The container is clear with white lid, however the small pot and fork have three summery colours to choose from. Our Account Manager Magda tested this for us: “The container is good on-the-go, with good capacity for a salad for two. Little container for dressing so the salad stays crispy until you are actually ready to eat it!”
Football Backpack
The Goal Drawstring Backpack is perfect to carry your sports kit and football at once. No more dropping slippery footballs after practice, just zip it in the front pocket and you’re good to go! This was tried out by our Sales Director Natalie: “Football gripped the heart of many youngsters this summer including my great nephew. At every opportunity he wanted to go to the park and have a kickabout, so I thought this bag would be great to throw drinks into, goalie gloves and of course the ball and head off in style. The bag came up a bit big on my little 6 year old England striker wannabe but it was the perfect size to hold our belongings whilst we cycled. It made carrying the ball that much safer especially when crossing roads. It’s now been used as a beach and lunch bag as well as footie practice bag. It would be perfect for sports clubs and holiday clubs, and is great for family days out. It has a super print area of 60mm x 260mm!”
