On 21st November 2021, we celebrated our 35th business anniversary! Established in 1986, Gilt Edged Promotions has grown from humble beginnings in a garage to where we are today – a 37,000 square foot office and factory space in Moulton Park, Northampton.
How it started…
From starting out solely as a diary company, we now offer an extensive selection of promotional products. This includes gifts, clothing, and our own range of diaries, notebooks and calendars. Helping businesses promote their products and services is our passion, with our customers ranging from large companies to small businesses and everything in between. We love working with charities, schools and sports clubs too, assisting them with branded merchandise to promote their organisations. We work tirelessly to provide high quality, great service and creative inspiration to all our customers. We are proud to have done this for 35 years now and are excited for what lies ahead for Gilt Edged!
Lunchtime celebrations
To celebrate our anniversary, we rustled up some decorations and held a lunch party for our staff with pizza, snacks and a special cake with our logo on. The food was delicious and it was really great to see everyone back together in one place again after nearly two years (of course due to the pandemic).
Any team event needs a good speech! Our Managing Director, Jonathan Cook and Sales Director, Natalie Eichmann made some lovely comments about the business and how far we have come in 35 years.
As with any business, the last two years have brought many challenges. From lockdowns and working from home to Brexit, we’re proud of how our team have faced issues head on and supported the business. Our industry hasn’t had it easy, with material shortages and delivery delays having a huge impact. We have adapted as a business to overcome these challenges, and although we aren’t out of the woods yet on some of these points, we pride ourselves on what we have achieved together. So a big thank you to all our team members – past and present – for all their hard work now and throughout the last 35 years!
